We will run away, away from the backs that walk away from us. We will laugh across the empty streets, holding hands and kissing occasionally. We will find a place to eat a couple of kibbes with lime and tahine and talk about the promising day that awaits. We will try the most expensive ice cream (yes, we are that happy), the most intriguing flavors… And when they finally find us, we will not really try to escape again, for a sole moment of happiness will have been enough to gather strength and stand the cold night in front of all those faces that face away and laugh at nothing.
