My friend Manuel has this thing for pirates, I recently learned.
We were chatting today and I said I didn’t know what to draw for inktober, so he told me to draw a female pirate. Why the heck a pirate, I replied, if those are from the 18th century and this month I’m drawing 20th century outfits! But oh well, I’d never drawn one before, so why not.
I googled female pirates but all I got were sexy costumes. I dug deeper and found engravings of Anne Bonny and Mary Read, who were actual female pirates. But even those engravings could be considered somewhat sexy! Lots of cleavage. So what the heck, let’s just make a sexy pirate. Here she is.
