When I came back to Bogot\u00e1, I had grown up. I had responsibilities. I had things to plan for the future. <em>The future.<\/em> What a daunting concept. I used to picture the rest of my life as a long and boring series of days where I worked and got money and spent it on stupid things, like impromptu trips and 1kg cereal boxes. Now I have to think more carefully before every new step I take. It&#8217;s all so different now. Where am I going? Have I found a path I&#8217;m comfortable following? Perhaps. The sole idea of settling is overwhelming. It means saying goodbye to so many other things.
