{"id":221,"date":"2004-07-24T04:14:00","date_gmt":"2004-07-24T04:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olaviakite.com\/maianebula\/2004\/07\/24\/vertical-1\/"},"modified":"2004-07-24T04:14:00","modified_gmt":"2004-07-24T04:14:00","slug":"vertical-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/olaviakite.com\/maianebula\/2004\/07\/24\/vertical-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Vertical 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have two flags right there.<br \/>\n<br \/>Right there, on my&nbsp;binary showcase.<br \/>\n<br \/>One says where I was born.<br \/>\n<br \/>The other, where I live.<br \/>\n<br \/>Both of them&nbsp;are the same.<br \/>\n<br \/>Treasures, skies and seas, and blood.<br \/>\n<br \/>I wanted to change one into the Rising Sun.<br \/>\n<br \/>Variety seemed fashionable.<br \/>\n<br \/>A flag so unique seemed fashionable.<br \/>\n<br \/>Showing off this love seemed fashionable.<br \/>\n<br \/>But then I thought it was a really&nbsp;stupid idea.<br \/>\n<br \/><em>I&#8217;m not there<\/em>.<br \/>\n<br \/>I wish I were there.<br \/>\n<br \/>My heart is there.<br \/>\n<br \/>My heart is with him.<br \/>\n<br \/>Maybe <em>his<\/em> heart is <em>here <\/em><span><span>too<\/span><\/span>.<br \/>\n<br \/><em>Our hearts are mingled<\/em>.<br \/>\n<br \/>I won&#8217;t be there until my body is there.<br \/>\n<br \/>I can&#8217;t pretend that I&#8217;m all shiny there when I&#8217;m really here.<br \/>\n<br \/>Speaking the language is not being there.<br \/>\n<br \/>Eating the food is not being there either.<br \/>\n<br \/>And I wasn&#8217;t born there.<br \/>\n<br \/>I wish I were, but I wasn&#8217;t.<br \/>\n<br \/>I can&#8217;t deny my nationality.<br \/>\n<br \/>My un<em>visa<\/em>ble nationality.<br \/>\n<br \/>I am what I am.<br \/>\n<br \/>Flags will change when life <em>does<\/em> change.<br \/>\n<br \/>Otherwise, I&#8217;m just a poseur.<br \/>\n<br \/>And then I type again, <em>co<\/em>.<br \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have two flags right there.
